ABOUT KRISTI

Kristi Englekirk is a senior attorney at Meza & Associates. She is a recognized Colorado expert in the intersection of criminal and immigration law and regularly advises other attorneys regarding how to resolve criminal cases to help their clients avoid collateral immigration consequences. She specializes in immigration matters, including removal defense and affirmative applications for lawful status.

She graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in May 2019. During her time in law school, she clerked for the Denver Immigration Court and worked as a student attorney in the DU Immigration Law & Policy Clinic.

Since working in private practice, Kristi has fought fiercely for her clients. She frequently appears before USCIS and the Denver and Aurora Immigration Courts, as well as representing defendants in criminal cases and post-conviction matters in district, county, and municipal courts.
